Bio

Hey There, my name's Joey Wallace, and I'm currently the weekend producer at 1330 WEBY, with the exception that i fill in during the week as needed. I've been working here since the beginning of November in 2005. I'm currently 19 years of age, and I'm a student over at PJC.

My hobbies include hanging out with my friends and just having a good time, I love to hang out at the mall and play pool down at Oops Alley, or go to a concert around the local area. I'm a pretty nice guy and i try to get along with other people as well as i can, people say i have a great personality.

I enjoy working with computers, and I've been involved with computers since I was just a small kid, thanks most in part to my uncle and older brother. I do alot of 3d modeling, mostly starships and other things of that nature. I'm a huge Star Wars and Star Trek fan. Always have been, always will be.

A random fact about me, I swing dance, and it's one of the things i love to do the most. I got involved with it about 4-5 years ago now, and still enjoy going all the time. (And I must say i'm not too shabby at it.) There's nothing better than spending a Friday night over at the American Legion listening to some great music, and getting to spend time with alot of great people.

I love meeting new people, making friends, and just getting to know other unique individuals. I think that's one of the reasons that i'm involved with talk radio. I am the multimedia editor for 1330weby.com, Which means I'll be responsible for editing shows and video clips that we begin posting on the site. I'm really excited to get this started and watch it take off.

Well, there you have it. Now you know a little bit more about Joey Wallace. If you would like to contact me I can be reached on the contact page. Thanks for reading, and keep on listening to 1330 AM WEBY Northwest Florida's Talk Radio.

Thousands Hold Vigil to Mourn Oakland Warehouse Fire Victims

Thousands of people attended a Monday evening vigil to mourn the victims of the warehouse fire in Oakland on Friday night that claimed 36 lives. A Facebook event page created for the vigil showed more than 5,000 people attending the event at the Lake Merritt Pergola in Oakland.
