The Nook / Kindle Comparison Test

Well ... so far the Kindle has it. I downloaded a book to my Nook yesterday. Last night I sat down to read. On the very first page the Nook froze. That first page has been on the screen for over 12 hours now ... and there is NOTHING I can do to get it to go away or move on to the next page. The touch-screen portion is dark, and remains so. I've tried holding down the power button for over a minute ... no luck. Nook rigor mortis has set in. Now I recently took my Kindle on a trip to Anguilla. It worked every time I picked it up. In fact, it has always worked ... never a glitch. I looked at the Nook forum on the Internet ... apparently this freezing-up problem is common. Looks like I'll be returning the Nook ... unless a good quick fix can be found.
